Now, as I round the corner to 70 what do I have?

Well, a little more hair, and bigger feet.

I’m not sure how they got me to sit so still.
I’m sure there’s some comical coaxing in play

Now those who’ve raised me have moved on to
their home in Heaven

Now God is my Refuge & Strength

Psalms 46:9-11

He tells me:

He makes wars to cease throughout the earth;
He breaks the bow & shatters the spear;
He burns the shields in the fire.

And the Lord is now coaxing me to:

Be still & know that I am God;

He assures us:

I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted over the earth.”

The LORD of Hosts is with us;
