It’s Fierceness v.1  Why do the heathen rage?

Deliver us from parading impetuously in ferocious aggression in our attitudes & responses Intrigue us in always facing rage with a soft answer which turns away wrath

It’s Foolishness  and the people imagine a vain thing?

Release us from empty thinking & foolish attitudes

It’s Fixation v.2  The kings of the earth set themselves,

Erase all compulsive insurrection & remove all obsessive revolt & riot of anarchy

It’s Formality  and the rulers take counsel together,

Never allow us to collaborate with others against God & His Word

It’s Force  against the LORD, and against his anointed,

Isolate the stupidity & impossibility of resisting the will & purpose of God

It’s Focus v.3

   Destroy God’s Person        saying; Let us break their bands asunder

Deliver us from the futility of assaulting Your purposes

   Disallow God’s Principles        and cast away their cords from us.

Delight us in aligning with Your restriction
