PSALMS 15

THE CONCENTRATION OF THE WORSHIPER            

LORD,

THE COMPANIONSHIP OF GOD’S PRESENCE 

who shall abide in thy tabernacle? 

THE COMFORT OF GOD’S PERFECTION  

who shall dwell in thy holy hill? 

THE CHARACTER OF THE WORSHIPER

HIS DIRECTION IS COMPLETE              

He that walks uprightly,

HIS DEVOTION IS CORRECT                  

and works righteousness,

HIS DECLARATION IS COURAGEOUS  

and speaks the truth in his heart.

HIS DECISIONS ARE COURTEOUS

SLANDER IS AVOIDED                

He that backbites not with his tongue

ACCUSATION IS AVERTED        

nor does evil to his neighbor,

ALLEGATION IS EVADED  

nor takes up a reproach against his neighbor

THE CLARITY OF THE WORSHIPER

HIS DETERMINATIONS ARE CONSIDERATE

REPRIMANDING PERVERSION 

In whose eyes a vile person is contemned

REVERENT IN PURITY        

but he honors them that fear the LORD.

RESILIENT IN RIDICULE    

He that swears to his own hurt,

RIGID IN DISDAIN              

and changes not.

HIS DESIGNS ARE TRUE GAIN

CORRECT INVESTMENTS    

He that puts not out his money to usury,

CONSISTENT INVOLVEMENT

EXPOSES TRUTH TWISTING  

nor takes reward against the innocent.

EXONERATES TOTAL INFLEXIBILITY

He that does these things shall never be moved
