It is true we‘re always over the Jordan
Although here in the wilderness, the joys of heaven are ours…
They’re like the grapes of Eschol—
The reality of being over is not known until by faith we
accept ourselves as to having died & risen with Christ
That is our heavenly position, we know it by faith to be our place
This side of things in the wilderness is not our place & we know that it‘s not.
The more we‘re with the Lord in spirit on the other side,
The less disappointed that we’ll be here,
When we’re there in faith we import new joys & new hopes
We’re brought up from this old world, to an entirely new one
Let this be more & more our happy song
