Overcome evil with good

Like some dreaded mutating bacillus, our politicians are slowly but surely absorbing our nutrients.

It would appear that everything is spoiling and rotting on the vine—everything.

There is a mystery in goodness. The divine principle is to overcome evil with good

But what if good is now redefined as evil & the travesty of corruption is now what is rationalized as good

The principle still stands. Overcome evil with good.

What must it have felt like to be in love with Jesus and stand at the foot of His cross?

To stand their and watch His beaten bloodied body writhing in pain until He expired

To hear Him praying good things for His torchbearers.

There is also a greater mystery in human evil. It’s called the mystery of iniquity.

For that mystery of lawlessness (that hidden principle of rebellion against constituted authority)

is already at work in the world, [but it is] restrained only until He who restrains is taken out of the way.

2 Thessalonians 2:7 | AMP

Who restrains evil? Who restrains wickedness? God has constituted authorities that restrain.

But what if their methods of restraint are outlawed?

What if the jails where individuals (who have proven they are out of control & need restraint)

What if those jails are emptied? What if the police fore all retires?

There’s something unfathomable and inexplicable in the perversity of our present culture

We’re seeing a unleashing of insanity. We’re seeing a propensity to wreck havoc of things.

We are to be salt and light. But the restraints are being taken out of the way.

Even so maranatha. Even so come Lord Jesus!!!
