Projecting Our Sins On To Others

It’s extremely painful to be falsely accused,

Where others think the worst and say the worst about us.

But such accusations say more about our accusers than about us.

Accusers are blatant in project their sins on to others,

It doesn’t matter if we’re completely innocent.

We need to pray for false accusers rather than retaliate against them.

If we’re tempted to think or say the worst about anyone,

Check it out

Are we simply projecting our own evil on to others who are innocent?

Just pray

We know we ought to pray.

We know that God invites and even commands us to pray.

We know He loves to hear from us, and loves knowing us individually.

So why does our soul feel so bone dry, where praying seems impossible?

What do we do?

Just Pray

Make the effort to pray.

Just pray.

It is always the right thing to do.

Pray short things. Breath prayers.

I’m convinced Jesus is our closest friend.

I’m confident that Jesus listens to our heart,

I’m certain He hears our feelings and our stammering voice

And He’s the best listener that has every listened to us

He always has time for us. He never avoids us.

He’s involved in every intricate detail.

Every thing in our life matters to Him.

Nothing is too small that He doesn’t care about it.

He knows we are struggling to talk to Him.

But somehow we just need to just pray.

I’m very throughly convinced that the demon world constantly lies about Jesus

They whisper in our ears especially about talking to Jesus

They say Christ is too slow

They say we’re too messed up for Him to even listen

They say we are far from close to Him

They say we’ll never be that special to Jesus because we’ve flopped too many times

Yes we are bombarded by the devils dumb deceptions

But the Spirit says pray on all occasions

Pray with all kinds of prayers and requests.

Persist With this in mind, being alert and always keep on praying

for all the Lord’s people.

Pray also for me, pray for each other, pray for you

Don’t give Satan a ledge to operate from with his lies

Don’t fall for demonic traps that we’re a sin infested loser

As far as the east is from the west,

so far does he remove our sins from us.

Psalm 103:12

God blots out all our transgressions for Christ sake,

and He won’t remember our sins anymore

Isaiah 43:25

None of Jesus shed blood is ever wasted

Yes we’ve gone astray;

Yes we’ve turned the wrong way a bazillion times

But our LORD has laid on Jesus the iniquity of us all.

Isaiah 53:6

We’re Blessed

All our lawless deeds are forgiven,

All our sins are covered over;

Our Lord will not count our sin against us.

Romans 4:7-8

Now there’s no condemnation

Now we’re safe and new in Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:1

Now we Pray Boldly

We boldly approach God’s throne of grace with confidence,

We receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Hebrews 4:16

Now we Pray dependently

The Spirit helps us in our weakness.

We don’t know what we ought to pray for,

So God’s Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.

And Jesus searches our hearts knowing the mind of the Spirit,

As the Spirit intercedes for us in step with God’s will.

Romans 8:26-27

We Pray when we’re exhausted

Because Jesus keeps telling us to Come to Him,

when we’re weary and burdened, and He’ll give us rest.

Take His yoke (walk hand in hand with Jesus and we’ll learn from Him)

How gentle, humble and meek in heart Jesus is,

And we’ll find rest for our souls.

Matthew 11:28-30

Even in the darkest valley, we will fear no evil, for Christ is with us;

And His rod and His staff, they guide and comfort us.

Psalm 23:4

Just pray

I always need help

We, all of us should be of one and the same mind, united in spirit,

sympathizing with each other,

loving each other as a family of one household,

compassionate and courteous, tenderhearted and humble

Never return evil for evil or insult for insult, don’t be scolding,

never give out a tongue-lashing, and don’t be berating,

Instead give out blessings.

Be constructively praying for others welfare,

pleading for others happiness, and petitioning for others protection,

Our responses should be sincere, truly pitying and loving to others

This is our calling,

for we ourselves have inherited a blessing from God–

so we also should bring blessings, happiness and protection to others

1 Peter 3

God, please Father please

Place in our lives others

who know our strengths and weaknesses,

who know our fears, failures, and victories;

others who are warm with compassion

but sympathetic in confronting us to protect us;

others whose hearts belong to Jesus

others who have been conquered by grace.

We’re so easily discouraged,

We can’t afford to fight our battles alone

We’re so weak and fallible and we need others help.

Rescue the perishing, Care for the dying,

Snatch them in pity from sin and the grave;

Weep o’er the erring one, Lift up the fallen,

Tell them of Jesus, the mighty to save.

Tho they are slighting Him, Still He is waiting,

Waiting the penitent child to receive;

Plead with them earnestly, Plead with them gently,

He will forgive if they only believe.

Down in the human heart, Crushed by the tempter,

Feelings lie buried that grace can restore;

Touched by a loving heart, Wakened by kindness,

Chords that are broken will vibrate once more.

Rescue the perishing, Duty demands it—

Strength for your labor the Lord will provide;

Back to the narrow way Patiently win them;

Tell the poor wand’rer our Savior has died.

We’re not licensed to fish

“God is able to forget our past.

Why can’t we?

He throws our sins into the depths of the sea

He puts up a sign on the shore which reads

‘No fishing.”

To get to the destiny stay on the path

Don’t let past hurts stop us!

Philip 3:13 “…

We focus on this one thing:

Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead”

We have the idealistic concepts of spiritual truth,

We have the most exalted views of Christ,

We have the dynamics of how to be living

We have the heart and soul of the faith.

But we haven’t grasped all there is to grasp.

We haven’t arrived yet.

So what do we do?

“This one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind,

and reaching forward to those things which are before.”

The past was the past. Thank God for it, but it was the past.
Our task is unfinished—really, we’ve barely begun. We’re just starting

So every day we begin again as though nothing at all had already been accomplished. Our new plan is to put the past resolutely behind us and set our sights on new targets ahead.
Our new objective is “this one thing I do.”

It’s not about ‘These forty things I dabble with.’ ”

We concentrate all our energy on the one goal he had set for himself. Nothing could distract him.

We press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

We’re running a race.

Our head is thrust forward, our expression is fierce determination, our body is straining toward the goal, our nerve is tense, our breath is coming in gasps, our whole being is stretched toward the finish line.

Every ounce of energy all our will power is pointed toward the prize.

It’s irrational to run toward a goal with our head on a swivel looking behind us.

We look forward. We press ahead to our goal.

Our goal and determined purpose is that we may know Him

that we may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him,

that we may perceive, recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly

that we may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection and how it exerts a powerful influence in us

that we may share His sufferings

that we may be continually transformed in spirit

that we may be as incredible as it sounds in His likeness of death

Philippians 3:10 paraphrased

Jowett writes:
We are satisfied with expenditure in which there is no. “shedding of blood.” We give away what they can easily spare. Our gifts are detached things, and the surrender of them necessitates no bleeding. We engage in sacrifice as long as it doesn’t involve life; when something really vital is demanded, we disappear. When Calvary and cross bearing comes into sight, we hide in safe seclusion.

Hudson Taylor wrote:
There is a needs-be for us to give ourselves for the life of the world … Fruit-bearing involves cross-bearing. “Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abides alone.” We know how the Lord Jesus became fruitful— not by bearing His cross only, but by dying on it. Do we know much of fellowship with Him in this? There are not two Christs—. an easy-going Christ for easy-going believers, and a suffering, toiling Christ for real believers. There is only one Christ. Are we willing to abide in Him and bear fruit?

C. A. Coates noted:
The knowledge of Christ in glory is our supreme desire and our passion could never exist without producing an intense longing to reach Him in the place where He is.

Our heart longs after Him instinctively.

We turn to the path by where He reached that place in glory, We earnestly desires to reach Him in that place by the very path He walked.

Our heart asks, “How did Jesus reach that glory? Was it through resurrection? No, sufferings & death precede resurrection?”

Then the heart says, “I’ll follow Him in resurrection glory by the very path which took Him there.” The pathway of suffering and death, to reach resurrection and glory. Through this path Christ wins our heart.

We Forget those things which are behind

We forget our sins and failures

We forget our natural privileges,

We don’t make demands on what we think we deserve

We forget our attainments, and successes

We forget our spiritual triumphs.

We fix our thoughts on Jesus

We concentrate our focus on knowing Him intimately

Mercies marvel

“Blessed are the merciful,”

Mercy is concern for people in need.

It is ministry to the miserable.

It is Offering help for those who hurt

It is giving a hand to those who suffer under the distressing blows of adversity and hardship.

To extend mercy to the miserable.
We identify with the sorrowing—
We “get inside their skin.” sympathizing

Rather than watching from a distance Instead of keeping the needy safely at arm’s length,
We get in touch, We get involved, We offer assistance We seek to alleviate the pain.

The time to trust

When is the time to trust?
Is it when all is calm,
When waves the victor’s palm,
And life is one glad psalm of joy and praise?

No! but the time to trust
Is when the waves beat high,
When storm clouds fill to sky,
And prayer is one long cry, O help and save!

When is the time to trust?
Is it when friends are true?
Is it when comforts woo,
And is all we say and do We meet but praise?

No! but the time to trust
Is when we stand alone,
And summer birds have flown,
And every prop is gone, All else but God.

What is the time to trust?
Is it some future day,
When you have tried your way,
And learned to trust and pray By bitter woe?

No! but the time to trust
Is in this moment’s need.
Poor, broken, bruised reed!
Poor, troubled soul, make speed To trust thy God.

What is the time to trust?
Is it when hopes beat high,
When sunshine gilds the sky,
And joy and ecstasy Fill all the heart?

No! but the time to trust
Is when our joy is fled,
When sorrow bows the head,
And all is cold and dead, All else but God.

Reactions in trouble

Call on Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall honor & glorify Me.

Psalms 50:15

God is revealing His heart when He allows trouble into our lives.

He loves to hear use pray

He loves to answer our prayers.

He cherishes an intimate, tender relationship between us & Himself.

God reveals our heart when He allows trouble into our lives.

Is our reaction gratitude or resentment

Is our reaction anger or praise.

Is our reaction despair or prayer

Cared for

We lack nothing when Jesus, is our Shepherd.

He supplies all our needs.

His comfortable bed for us are green pastures

He prepares a perfect place of peace and rest for us.

He leads us beside still water

When we stumble and fall, He picks us up.

He cares for our wounds.

Jesus gives us strength.

He restores our soul.

He puts us back on the right path,

His path, is the path we walk together on—

His path, is the path that resonates the truth

and righteousness of His name.

When darkness wraps its arms around us

When death knocks at our door,

Because our Lord is always present,

because He is with us,

because Christ stands by our side,

We will not be afraid,

As You hold our hand.

You comfort us.

You keep us safe.

You give us peace.

And You do it In full view of our enemies,

You spread out Your magnificent feast;

and while we feast on Your presence, Lord,

You fill our cup and keep pouring.

Our life is full now

overflowing with grace

overflowing with mercy

overflowing with forgiveness

and overflowing with blessings beyond measure.

Our life is jam-packed with

Your goodness

Your unfailing love

For You’ve made our heart Your forever home
