Guard our heart, Lord Jesus,
Make our heart beat for You alone.
Keep us from complacency toward You
Keep us from being lured to anyone or anything more than You.
Remove the idols from our heart
Make us loyal to You
Give us loving affections & deepen our love for You
Let us forgive others as You have forgiven us
Don’t let our enemy get a foothold in us through hate or bitterness
Cultivate in our heart
Your love that
that bears all things,
that believes all things,
that hopes all things,
that endures all things
Finally, Lord,
set our heart on things above,
not on earthly things.
Help us remember
that our life is hidden
in Christ in God
